Hanukkah Window Cards
These cards are easy to make and kids will love the fact that they can
take the stickers off the window and reuse them.
What
you will need:
1. White cardstock
2. Transparency
3. Hanukkah themed stickers
4. Paper cutter or sharp utility knife
5. Cutting board
6. Scissors
7. Photo splits
8. Ruler
9. Pencil
Directions:
1. Begin by cutting the white cardstock to a suitable
size for cards.
2. Fold the card in half and make sure the fold is
creased well.
3. Use the ruler and pencil to draw a border on the
front of the card about a half-inch in from the edges.
4. Use the cutting board and utility knife, or the
paper cutter to cut out the border. Be careful not to cut completely
to the edge of the paper.
5. Cut out a piece of transparency big enough to cover
the "window" you have just created.
6. Use the photo splits to adhere the transparency to
the card. If you need to cut the photo splits, cut them before
removing them from the lining they come on.
7. Use the stickers to decorate. Place the primary
sticker on the front of the transparency, and an identical sticker in
the same place on the inside.
8. Place other stickers on the inside of the card so
that you can see them through the window.
