Hanukkah Washcloths

Sometime all you need is just a hint of decoration to bring the festivities of Hanukah into any room. These washcloths make the perfect addition in any guestroom or bathroom.

What you will need:

1. Dark blue washcloth
2. Heavy white linen fabric
3. White thread
4. Sewing needle, if doing by hand or sewing machine
5. Thick cardstock
6. Scissors
7. Pencil
8. Tape

Directions:

1. Begin by drawing two equal sided triangles on the cardstock.

2. Cut out the triangles.

3. Tape the triangles together so that they form a Star of David.

4. Use this as a template to cut out a Star of David from the heavy white linen fabric.

5. Thread the needle with the white thread and begin sewing the star onto the center of the washcloth. Or use the embroidery function on your sewing machine to sew the star onto the washcloth.

6. When you have finished sewing around the star, cut the thread.
